As Europe charts its path out of the crisis, the EU’s industrial strategy is being (re)designed to catalyse a speedy and sustainable recovery, to accelerate our industrial transformation, and to strengthen our resilience in a more unstable world. Some pivotal decisions for our industries, and for Europe as a whole, lie ahead.

At the heart of the new strategy is a focus on Europe’s industrial ecosystems. This novel approach holds considerable promise. Yet given its potentially transformative consequences, it also requires open dialogue and close collaboration between policymakers and industry.

Join senior representatives from the upcoming German Presidency, the European Parliament, the European Commission and industry for an interactive virtual debate on putting this ecosystems approach into practice. An opportunity to advance shared understanding, identify concerns and develop solutions.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Brigitte Irsfeld, Counsellor for Economic Affairs, Permanent Representation of Germany to the EU

  • Kamil Kiljanski, Acting Director Competitiveness and Outreach, DG GROW, European Commission

  • Rada Rodriguez, Orgalim President; Senior Vice President, Schneider Electric

  • Carsten Schierenbeck, Counsellor for Economic Affairs, Permanent Representation of Germany to the EU

  • MEP Susana Solís Pérez, Renew Europe

Chair and moderator: Christoph Luykx, Policy Director, Orgalim
